Dad Said I Could ("we," "us," or "the site") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is collected when you visit dadsaidicould.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

This is a static content site. We don't run user accounts, logins, or newsletter forms, and we don't ask you for personal information. We use privacy-respecting analytics to see which articles are useful, and some outbound links are Amazon affiliate links. We don't sell your data.

Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the site and understand what's working:

Usage and analytics data — pages visited, referring site, approximate (city/region-level) location, device and browser type, and general engagement. This is aggregated and not used to identify you.
Technical request data — such as IP address and browser headers, processed by our host to deliver pages and protect the site.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details, because the site has no forms, accounts, or checkout.

Hosting and Cloudflare

The site is served as static files through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process limited technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver content and protect the site from abuse, and we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites.
