Privacy Policy
Dad Said I Could is a small personal blog. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens with data when you visit.
What we collect
This is a static website. We don't run accounts, comment logins, or newsletter sign-up forms, so we don't ask you for personal information. We don't sell any data, because we don't gather any to sell.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Google Analytics and/or Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand which articles people find useful. These tools report totals like page views and general location — not anything that identifies you personally. If you'd rather opt out, most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting and ad/analytics blockers work here too.
Hosting
The site is served as static files through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process limited technical request data (like IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site, as described in their own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to things we'd actually recommend.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, reach out through whatever contact method is listed on the site and we'll do our best to help.
